SEND Parent Meetings

As part of our ongoing commitment to continually review and strengthen the support we provide for all children with additional needs, we are introducing SEN Parent Meetings this year.

These meetings are designed for children on our Special Educational Needs (SEN) register and will take place three times throughout the academic year. Each meeting will last for 15 minutes and will be held via Teams with your child’s class teacher. The meeting link will be shared with you closer to the meeting date.

These SEN meetings will replace the usual 10-minute parents’ evening appointments that are held twice a year, allowing more time to focus in detail on your child’s individual needs and development.

During each meeting, you will have the opportunity to:

• Discuss your child’s current targets in line with their needs
• Review your child’s progress and achievements
• Talk about your child’s provision and the support in place
• Raise or discuss any other matters relating to your child’s learning or wellbeing
