Welcome to the Year 6 web page.
We hope you find the information here useful.
Our Autumn term topic is ‘World at War'. We will be reading Once and The Final Year. In English, we will be focusing on writing narrative with a historical focus. Our topic this half-term will focus on history where we will learn about the Second World War. In Maths, we will secure our understanding of the four operations, ensuring we are all fluent in addition, subtractions, multiplication and division.

No bags larger than book bags please. Our cloakroom is increasingly full with large bags that are taking up a lot of space. Packed lunch boxes and water bottles are removed from bags on entry to school, a book bag is large enough to contain the items needed to travel to and from the classroom. Large bags will be need to be taken home with the parent at drop off.
Please ensure your child's uniform and all personal items are named, to ensure it can be returned to its rightful owner when they take it off. A rain coat is always useful.
Water bottles and a healthy snack are also required each day.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or queries.
